Client Gantt chart access

I think that you guys really need to address this. At present, the Gantt charts are only useful for organising our business internally. There's no way for a client to see a Gantt chart without them becoming employees of our company within WORKetc!

I tried to workaround this by downloading a printable Gantt chart, but the quality is so poor that it is unusable. I really think that this comes under the wider project of hugely improving the client portals within WORKetc, which are so poor compared to what is available to the company internally. At present, we are embarrassed to ask our clients to log into the client portals, but we'd really like to be shouting about it.

I agree 100%. I thought I was just using it incorrectly. I'm going to have to go back to basecamp to manage my web design projects until this can provide better visibility for clients.

Check out www.smartsheet.com - this is, I think, outstanding for shared Gantt project management. We're going to be using this whilst - we hope - WORKetc's client area is improved.

Particularly great if you are a Google Apps user as it can be found in the Apps store.

Agreed. We need this. Clients are always asking for copies of the Gantt's and timeline schedule and rather than making PDFs all the time, it would be great if they can access it on their own accord.

I agree this is critical for clients to see.

We are dissapointed to find out that this functionality is not already implemented. Us project managers really need this functionality in order to provide information to our clients and conduct our business seriously!

I'm a new customer to workETC and I agree 100% with the above statements. Project Management is not yet ready to give to customer. Needs much improvement including presentation of reports. At present project reports are just a screen print. Like one of the comments above - I'm sticking with MS Project for managing my workload until I see drastic improvements.
