templates emails and social media integration

Can we please have the option to send template emails to people, when you click their email the email client box pops up we need to have an option to insert a template.

Also, a field where we can enter social media names and worketc would provide a feed would be awesome, even better have worketc search for social media accounts via the person's email or company name.

Social media, namely Twitter and Linkedin Profile will be added to Contact profiles as part of Sales/CRM revision we're working on.

Not sure I follow what you are suggesting in the first part of your email? -Can you provide a usage scenario?

For example when the email window pane pops up it would be nice to have template emails, for emails such as "thank you" emails or "follow up check in", etc.

Hi Folks,

I used to use a couple of other systems before WorkETC and the social element is what I am really missing. NimbleCRM and Capsule CRM are the two I used in particular.

What I would like to see in the social integration (not sure if they are in progress/planned?) are:

  • Grab photo from social media accounts with the same email as the person
  • Suggest links for social media for all contacts already in existence in WorkETC by matching name, email, etc
  • A rapportive-style stream of their latest social media interactions when viewing the customer information
  • The option to bring social media messages into WorkETC (perhaps as a support case or lead?)
  • A facebook app or copy-able HTML which adds a tab to your page for lead generation form, support request form, etc
  • Option to send a chat/conversation link via social media/email/support ticket


    • That's my wish list, at least ;)

    I really like the way that Nimble does this. To me this would be a HUGE advantage. Right now, I can add social media links but (unless I'm doing something wrong) they aren't even live hyperlinks. I would love worketc to be able to suggest links like Nimble. PLEASE PLEASE Pretty Please :-)

    I agree with Ruth's suggestion. Perhaps an integration with Nimble or Hootsuite would make this easier to implement.

    "Standard Responses" (aka canned emails, email templates) are now global in WORKetc =)
