Filter Top Level Projects Only

Tue, 1 May '12 @ 6:21 AM
I would like to see the filter sort top level projects only. With this feature a screen with 100 projects is not nearly as long showing all sub projects under the top level project.

I would also like to be able to filter the projects by the template name used to create it.

This feature is available on the iphone app, why isnt it available on the web app????//

We really want to see this feature as well. Seeing all projects including sub projects has really been off putting to our users. Often one user works on 15 projects at a time, each might have 15 sub-projects. This results in a very cluttered view.

Hi Doug

Couple of tips for you...

  1. If you sort your Project list by "Hierarchy" then child items will be collapsed
  2. Although you can's filter based on template, you can filter by Project Type

I find both the above invaluable when checking through our internal "paid services" project. We use Project Type of "Coding" for HTML Invoice Design jobs, and Project Type of "Consulting" for... well, you've probably guessed already ;-)

I simply filter for specific Project Types - in fact I have a saved filter setup to do it for me at the click of a button. With the increasing popularity of our Consulting Services this is making my life 10x easier to manage the work!
