Timesheet Time Entering

Thu, 3 May '12 @ 8:11 AM
Hello,

Our company does a lot of support tickets. On each ticket, we always attach a time sheet with the amount of time we spent working on it. I find it time consuming (and sometimes annoying) when having to edit the start and finish time, especially when we have to go backwards with the date. A lot of the time, the system will add 24 hours due to the start date being before the end date. Once the end date is set, you have to go back to the end time and fix it.

I used this plugin (http://labs.perifer.se/timedatepicker/) on a project we were working on. It worked very nicely where you could simply pick the time from the AJAX drop down that was generated from the text box. It made it a lot easier and user friendly to enter time into the system we created.

Anyway, that's just a suggestion :)

This would also be great if each use could define there time intervals at which the time picker displayed the time list (6min, 15min, 30min blocks)

I find the timesheet very tedious and not user friendly. I agree with all the suggestions made by David.
