Folder management and Folders permissions

It would be great if the files are not actually attached but linked to their location. This would enable to have a situation were if amendments to the document are made in Worketc or from the location of the document itself, the latest version would automatically show in both Worketc and in the location of the document. The current set-up requires a lot of double work and the risk of saving different versions of the document in different places.

Also it would be great to start having permission at folder level.
