Specify Knowledgebase Access

I'd like to suggest the extension of permissions control to Knowledgebase articles. Right now the options are only "ALL" or "none" to control access. Our customers all have information specific to their company that we'd like keep separate from the general knowledge base.

I've seen this mentioned in the other forums, but not here as feature suggestion. If so, consider this a +1.

This would be a fantastic addition, it would be a great value add for our clients to be able to have their own specific knowledgebase

I'd like to add internal permissions as well i.e. only allowing specific employees to see certain articles

Hi - folder-level permisisons on knowledgebase articles is planned for development later this year:

  • Create a folder for a company customer and enter specific information for that company
  • Create a folder for an employee or workgroup and enter HR records, company policies, performance reviews etc and link directly back to that employee or workgroup
