How to Enable Customer Access to your Project#83

In this article, we'll go over enabling customer access to your projects.  This is useful because you may want to allow your customers to login and view the progress, start and end dates, emails, or files for a particular project. You can also choose whether to give a customer access to all of a WORK[etc] project or just one of the sub-projects within it.

To start, go to "Work" --> "Projects" and click on the "+" icon. Once you do that, you'll see the create-a-project window pop-up:

1 Click here to allow your client to see emails and file associated with this project

You of course can modify this setting at anytime within a project by going to that project and then "Manage Project" --> "Settings".

If you instead prefer to just allow a client access to one of the sub projects of a project, ensure that the above 1 option is disabled, *and* go in and assign a customer to the sub project.

2 Go here to add a client to the list of people assigned to the project, and then they will be able to view that project.
