Awesome. Thanks for the update Dan!
Congratulations on the upgrades! I was a bit concerned about this...I am very glad you guys are so on top of what needs to be done. I am always happy to recommend Work, Etc.
The new features clearly distinguish WETC, here is why/how.
- I have setup WETC to use my own SMTP server to send out email. This solves a big issue that previously used to get spam filters to catch the email that was sent from wetc.com but purporting to come from my email account. Messages are now truly coming from my account and from my SMTP server. For my clients, this makes things smoother and makes my CRM too transparent.
I must also admit that I am excited and feeling like I have some spy powers since I can stop guessing as to why a prospect has not responded to my quote or other email by simply checking the read-status. Instead of worrying that my offer was ignored, I can now see that the message is still not opened :)
This is great! these new features add a whole new level to monitoring business, and cleaning up a database that easily and quickly is a remarkable tool. Great work guys!
Hi Guys. I wonder - do you have any autoresponder functionality to both email/hard copy mail (via labels) certain tagged prospects, being able to modify the list you send out to? then based on their response, they have different emails sent to them at different frequencies? If not (a) do you know what I'm talking about? (b) If so, is it on the development roadmap for some point in the future or (c) will your API allow the integration of something like Infusionsoft short term so that prospect/client data can be sent from WorkEtc. to Infusionsoft and then Infusionsoft can report back to Worketc. about what the prospect has responded to etc. Also, do you have any connections with Hubspot for electronic marketing import.
Sorry, a lot of questions in one hit. It's just that I've looked at your software and it's looks ideal for us on the CRM & projects/collaboration side. However, Having to duplicate mailing/prospect context between systems manually, doesn't really appeal. If API can handle, then that would be excellent. Best wishes and keep up the good work.
Allan that is a great idea and something that would add immense value to this system as a marketing engine! Autoresponders would be fantastic, even if they didn't have the advanced functionality you are talking about
Auto-responders and a drip email system have both been spec'd out for the CRM/Sales update due later this year. Best to discuss feature suggestions over at the suggestion forum:
Allan - we have a full API, in fact, we built WORKetc on top of our own API.
I was really confused, and this anwsered all my questions.
