Search box for new features

Wed, 9 May '12 @ 12:15 PM
First, congratulations, I'm evaluating WorkEtc and so far it's pretty good.

That said, I'm starting to have a better understanding of its weaknesses and limitations, and I was going to start voting features that our organization (22 people) would find useful when I noticed that you don't have a search box, to search for feature requests. Pretty big oversight.

Hi Christian - it has slipped off this forum temporarily as we roll out some changes to it. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi Christian, as Dan mentioned it is temporarily off, but it will return within the next couple of days.

Depending upon when you first started evaluating WORKetc, you may have noticed a drastic and positive change to our website, which is aimed at helping potential and new users understand what features WORKetc has to offer. In line with the changes to the website we've been making changes to the forums to faciliate a better feedback loop between customers and WORKetc. The temporary downside being that the search has disappeared for the moment.

However, the "User Guide" (http://support.worketc.com/community/docs) remains an excellent source of information about what features are available and how they function within WORKetc.

Hi Christian - the ability to search the forums has been encapsulated in the "User Guide" search for now.

If you enter a search term, the search box will change slightly, you will notice it says "Searching Everything". (If you have entered via a link deeper into the "User Guide", it will be immediately visible).

This is actually a UI element, you can toggle it to search both the "User Guide" & "Forums" (Everything) or "User Guide" or "Forums" for a scoped search.

This won't stay like this, as mentioned previously, we will change this to provide better accessibility, however, you will be able to access the information you require.

Can I close this topic now that the feature is fixed?
