What's the difference between a Project, ToDo or Timesheet?#13
ToDos are independent tasks with no affect on the progress of a project. Projects/Project Tasks are a collection of phases/milestones. Timesheets are recorded to keep track of the work performed.

How to duplicate a project or create a template#166
You can create a project from template , you can create a project template from scratch, or you can duplicate an existing project. Just look in the top right of the project and you'll see an option that says "Duplicate Project". If you want to create a project from scratch, just go to "Settings" --> "Projects"

While you can invite an unlimited number of contacts to collaborate through the customer portal, if you want more functionality for your contractors they will require a paid license. WORKetc treats contractors the same as employees, and you can manage their permissions in the "Settings" --> "Permissions" area.

"People" contacts are your most basic form, used for customers or suppliers, etc. "Companies" are meant to be represent a separate company. You can group "People" into companies. "Employees" are users that have a paid license.

You can easily attach a todo to a project, or a project to a lead, or a support case to an event in WORK[etc]. Just navigate to the "Attached To" field or the "Lead" field within the item you're working on. If you ever get confused, you can just go back to the contact history to see just about everything affiliated with the contact.
