Overview: Employees/Contractors or Person Contacts#124

WORK[etc] allows you to invite an unlimited amount of contacts to login through the customer portal and view/reply to their support tickets, view knowledge base articles, check/pay for invoices, and view projects that they're assigned to. Let's say you have a client who sometimes collaborates on projects and all you need for them to see is emails and files related to a project. Using the customer portal, they can login and access these items at no additional charge to you. A quick preview is depicted below:

1  People can view and reply to their support cases here.  When viewing a support ticket, they can view emails and files related to that support ticket.
2  People can view the knowledge base here
3  They can view emails, files, the progress, and start and end dates for all projects that you'd like for them to have access too.
4  They can view and pay for invoices.  The invoice function integrates with the following merchant providers -- Google Checkout, 2Checkout, Authorize.net, and PayPal

If the customer portal's features are not sufficient for your contractor and you would like them to have access to multiple project features, tasks, and other WORKetc modules, they will require a paid license. WORKetc treats contractors the same as employees and doesn't even differentiate between the two in the system (You can do this yourself by #tagging a contractor). You can add licenses and contractor/employee permissions as shown below:

1 Click here if you would like to add additional licenses so you can bring onboard to WORK[etc] more contractors or employees
2 Click here if you'd like to modify the permission settings for your Employee/Contractors
