Permissions are used to control access to your account. You can access and change permission settings for users under Settings > Permissions. From here, you can determine if a specific employee will have no access, limited access, or full access to each component of every module.

You can view your employees' permissions by going to Settings > Permissions. You can view the permissions for each employee, or you can create roles and set up permissions for a particular job role. You can assign the role to an employee to automatically give that employee the permissions for their job. You can also compare employee permissions by module on the View by Module tab.

There's a setting in "Settings" --> "Contacts" called "Filter contact pickers to only display contacts that users have Full or Limited access to" that makes it so that people can only see contacts that are shared with them. The shared with setting is located within full edit view of each contact.

You must first enable global customer access through "Settings" -> "Contact Settings", and then grant a specific customer access by going to the "Permissions" tab on their profile. Then just enable client access on that project when creating it.

Go to Settings > Permissions and or the employee contact record under settings and remove the checkmark in the box that grants the employee access.
